The Starting Line and Charly Bliss special guests on Sept. 4

The Wonder Years, a beloved Philadelphia pop punk band is coming to The Great Allentown Fair on Sept. 4.

The show includes The Starting Line and Charly Bliss as the special guests.  The Starting Line is an American rock, pop punk band from Philadelphia and Charly Bliss is an American four-piece power pop band from Brooklyn, N.Y.

The Wonder Years released six full-length albums, two EPs, and several compilations that include their latest album titled “Sister Cities.” “No Closer to Heaven,” “Burst and Decay (An Acoustic EP),” “Sister Cities,” “Suburbia,” “I’ve Given You All and Now…,” and “The Greatest Generation” all have charted on the Billboard 200 since 2011.

The Wonder Years members Dan “Soupy” Campbell (lead vocals), Casey Cavaliere (lead guitar, backing vocals), Matt Brasch (guitar, vocals), Josh Martin (bass, vocals), Nick Steinborn (keyboards, guitar, backing vocals) and Mike Kennedy (drums, percussion).

The Starting Line formed in 1999. The band celebrated their 20th anniversary in 2019 by playing the Vans Warped Tour for their fourth time in San Francisco and Atlantic City. They have three full-length albums, three EPs and four live albums and is set to play the When We Were Young Festival in October 2022 in Las Vegas.

Charly Bliss has two full-length albums, Guppy and Young Enough and an EP titled, Supermoon. The band is frequently compared to Weezer and inspired by the Killers, Cibo Matto, the All-American Rejects, Fountains of Wayne and Kate Bush.

Starting June 10 at 10 a.m., tickets for The Wonder Years with special guests The Starting Line and Charly Bliss along with the recently announced Cole Swindell with special guest Chase Rice will be available at the Fair Box Office on the Allentown Fairgrounds and online at Ticketmaster.com. Special box office hours will be held June 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and every Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Tickets for The Wonder Years are $49 and include admission into the fair.

Tickets continue on sale for Dropkick Murphys with special guest The Bouncing Souls on Sept. 1 and the J&J Demolition Derby on Sept. 5.
