Delight in the sounds of the past from smooth soul to a Disco Inferno. Sing along to the oldies both you and your mom know and love. This rare lineup of musical icons features legendary performances by: Russell Thompkins Jr. and the Stylistics (Betcha by Golly, Wow), Wilbert Hart formerly of the Delfonics (La-La Means I Love You), Harold Melvin’s Blue Notes (If You Don’t Know Me by Now), The Intruders (I’ll Always Love My Mama) and The Trammps featuring Earl Young (Disco Inferno).

This Mother’s Day, May 12 at 3 p.m. at Union County Performing Arts Center, Rahway, is sure to be a hit. Hosted by one of the most recognizable personalities in radio and a mainstay at WBLS Doctor Bob Lee, if you enjoy great music and great shows, you won’t want to miss it.
