The first Annual Hunterdon Warren NJ Project Linus Blanket Day will be held on Friday, 13 May at the Bloomsbury Firehouse. The mission of Project Linus is to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade, washable blankets and afghans, lovingly crafted by volunteer blanketeers.
The Hunterdon Warren NJ of Project Linus began in June 2021 by Diane M Pflugfelder. The Chapter began as a result of COVID boredom. This volunteer organization has now delivered more than 8,601,140 nationally and 74 to the local children of Hunterdon and Warren counties since September 2021.
