The South Shore Artists Group is celebrating its 77th anniversary. Fifty-five years ago the South Shore Artists Group held its first art show on the grounds of Conference House Park to raise funds for Richmond Memorial Hospital. The bucolic setting was much as we see it today.

The South Shore Artists Foundation is an incorporated 501 (c)(3) association established by the South Shore Artists Group. Its mission is to reach out and educate our community through art experiences and exhibits and to encourage artistic talents of seniors and community youth.

In keeping with tradition, on June 4, ( rain date June 11), the South Shore Artists Group, and Foundation Inc. presents its 55th Annual Art Exhibit on the grounds of Conference House Park, 298 Satterlee Street, Staten Island between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Admission is free. Artists and artisans will display their work. There will be a children’s craft table and a raffle of original artwork.

We hope our community will support us and enjoy this unique day.
