The Raritan Bay Area YMCA announced the debut of Mission on the Move, a versatile mobile unit that will serve as an extension of the YMCA.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at the Y’s annual Healthy Kids Day event and marked the official launch of this initiative. As part of the ceremony, children took center stage, symbolizing the YMCA’s dedication to youth development and inclusivity.
“It was important for us to involve children in the ceremony. Their presence reminded us of the impact Mission on the Move will have in shaping a brighter, healthier future for generations to come,” said Steve Jobin, president and CEO of the Raritan Bay Area YMCA.
Through Mission on the Move, the Raritan Bay Area YMCA strives to take its mission beyond the walls of the Y and meet the community where they are. Whether it’s hosting youth activities, providing health screenings for seniors, or conducting outreach, the Raritan Bay Area YMCA is excited to extend their impact, forge deeper connections, and create a more vibrant, inclusive community, for all.
