Dr. Tejash Shah has joined Hunterdon Urological Associates with offices in Flemington and Bridgewater.
Dr. Shah is a board-certified urologist with Hunterdon Urological Associates and serves as the Medical Director of Men’s Sexual and Reproductive Health at Hunterdon Medical Center.
He obtained his medical degree and completed an internship in general surgery, followed by a urology residency at Rutgers University, New Jersey Medical School.
Dr. Shah has extensive knowledge in all areas of urologic care ranging from kidney stones to enlarged prostate and urologic oncology including bladder, prostate, and kidney cancer. In addition to his surgical urology training, Dr. Shah completed a one-year Men’s Health fellowship at Boston Medical Center focusing on sexual and reproductive medicine.
As urology and specifically men’s health touches on many sensitive topics, Dr. Shah feels it is critical to help his patients feel comfortable while providing excellent comprehensive care. He treats erectile dysfunction with both non-surgical and surgical options, low testosterone, peyronies disease, enlarged prostate, urinary incontinence, and male infertility. His goal is to make patients feel at ease with sharing such personal and difficult details while providing state-of-the-art yet personalized patient care.
Dr. Shah believes that men’s urological health is often overlooked, and many patients may feel uncomfortable discussing these sensitive topics. However, it is essential to seek care from a highly trained physician. Dr. Shah treats adults of all ages.
