Staten Island has spawned a celebrity in the employment benefits industry. His name is Anthony Libecci, member of the SIEDC, resident of Staten Island, and producer of the No. 1 sales office at Aflac for three consecutive years (2018, 2019, and 2020) in the United States.

“It is no secret why Anthony’s agency is the top roducing Aflac office for three consecutive years. It is a combination of his hard work, commitment to community and his ability to structure his team as a customer-centric agency,” said Trevor Fennell, Aflac’s marketing director NY Metro.
Libecci was surprised by some of the statistics he found in the Aflac 2020 Workforce Report, which included some startling insight: “48% of American workers couldn’t cover unexpected medical costs of $1,000 or more.” And “59% of employees say that their benefits packages are very important to their work productivity.”
To address this problem, earlier this year, Libecci, 39, launched a new company called Benemont.com. Benemont offers comprehensive worksite benefits packages for companies staffing as few as five people and up to 50,000 employees.These companies are seeking to both attract and retain their most talented employees. Usually they want to do so without incurring any additional costs to the company.
“Sometimes I feel like a kid giving out candy. I’m excited to speak with business owners about their benefits packages because I can now offer a huge value that other advisers can not do,” Libecci said. “By the time we get to the end of a 15- to 20-minute phone call, they are ready to see what we can present to them. It’s like giving out free candy to all my friends.”
The COVID-19 Pandemic has thrown the entire United States and world economy for a loop. Health care is now at the forefront of everyone’s minds. “I can now sleep easy at night knowing how many companies and employees I’ve helped through these trying times. I cannot think of anything else I’d rather be doing with my life,” Libecci said.
