Rowan College of South Jersey fall semester classes will be available both on campus and online, offering options and opportunities to fit different learning styles while still maintaining the college’s top priorities: safety, value and affordability.
On-campus learning returns to the Rowan College of South Jersey (RCSJ) Gloucester and Cumberland campuses in September, kicking off the fall semester with a choice of four academic delivery styles: on-campus, hybrid, live online and traditional online.
COVID-19 and concerns for safety made it necessary during the last academic year for colleges and universities to offer the majority of class instruction online. RCSJ fall semester classes will be available both on campus and online, offering options and opportunities to fit different learning styles while still maintaining the college’s top priorities: safety, value and affordability.
“Warm weather and vaccinations mean brighter days ahead,” said RCSJ President Frederick Keating. “I am excited at the prospect of having students back on campus this fall. Looking to the future with expectation and enthusiasm provides us all with a much-needed boost, particularly as we look to return to normal, daily life.”
For the summer months, RCSJ courses will remain online (live online and traditional) as the Gloucester campus continues to be host to one of the state’s mega vaccination sites. In August when the vaccination site is no longer operational, college personnel will begin preparing to welcome students back into the classrooms on Sept. 1.

“The dedication of state, county, college and medical personnel over the past four months, as they tirelessly vaccinate thousands of New Jersey residents, makes it possible for us to bring our students back on campus this fall,” Keating added. “Masks, social distancing and hand sanitizer will still be part of our world, as we continue to keep students safe and take precautions — but we will once again be together learning on campus and in classrooms.”

RCSJ is a two-year regional college serving full- and part-time students with degree and workforce development programs, on campuses in Gloucester and Cumberland counties. The main campus in Gloucester County is located at 1400 Tanyard Road in Deptford. The Cumberland County campus is located at 3322 College Drive in Vineland.
